| It's quite obvious that David Occhipinti has listened to some John Scofield and Bill Frisell. But to his credit he never lets their influence overpower him. On this collection of original compositions his lines reverberate through dense harmonic enclaves as if touring an uninhabited highway. Occhipinti's bandmates, drummer Kevin Dempsey and bassist Jim Vivian, make the journey all the more memorable. |
